A note from the secretary

Hi fellow members and friends, I hope all is well after the trying times of the recent fires. I know a few members from other clubs weren’t so lucky and my condolences and sympathy goes with them. If it’s not enough to test the metal of a hot rodder then the powers to be decide to rock our world with a shake rattle and roll! Don’t even ask the question - what’s in store for us next month.

Well the last cruise didn’t get very far from the Wantirna car park … oh well it was nice to see George again. Maybe next time we will … CRUISE!
Having said that we did cruise over to the ice cream parlour in Bayswater and had a refreshing ice cream there at the end of the night. I urge every member to start thinking of nominations for the up coming committee positions at the annual general meeting. (it will come soon enough) I think that too many times, decisions are left to the meeting and it is then left to members that have put in far more of their time into running of this club over the years than is necessary. I think everyone should pitch in at some time -so …. Give it a go.

A note from the social secretary

Hello, fellow Club Members and Welcome to Mad March...Yes and now that the Darstardly Month of Feb has ended its reign (no Rain) of terror and heat, I hope that we can now think of a few social events to cheer us up!!!
Thanks to all who came for our Cruise cruise night. Weather was kind and perhaps we should have gone to the beach!!!. Next time.?
Next cruise night will be March 17th. Tuesday.  I am awaiting news of bookings for RAWSON Caravan Park. April 4th (Sat Night) Most of this area has been on Fire Alert and now weather has hopefully turned to Autumn we can visit and I am sure the local business's will be glad we came. . Numbers Please.
LOVE the BEAST, Movie Night? All those interested please register your vote at the March Meeting or soon after. Looking forward to more social times, and as usual, keep the windscreen clean and the chrome gleaming.
